Fish malabari
Fish malabari is a mouth watering cuisine from the inner part of Malabar area....
INGREDIENTS:
Fish-Any fish 1kg
Chopped small Onion-1 cup
Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
Green chilly-4-5
Coconut oil-2 Tsp
Coconut Milk-1 cup
Curry leaves-4-5 leaves
Tomato sliced-2
Chilly powder-4 Tsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
Salt -to taste
Mango raw sliced- of half mango
A pinch mustard,1 red chilly,2 curry leaves,-To season
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Take a mud pan,pour 1 tsp coconut oil put the ginger garlic paste in it and saute it well,Then add chopped onion and green chilly when it is light brown color you can add chilly powder and turmeric powder then add required quantity of water and the sliced mango,Boil it well,now add the fish and salt to taste when it is boiled once pour the coconut milk,Note that after pouring coconut milk don't let it boil..now you can switch of the stove.Then take another pan,pour coconut oil,put mustard seeds,red chilly and curry leaves..pour this to the prepared curry..Now the mouth watering fish malabari is ready.
